Goals  of primary treatment
The team of RoderConsult Treatment helps and guides people with simple addiction related problems at the earliest possible stage.
The goal is, in a short time period, to help people to regain control over their addiction related problems. If the problems are more serious, the counselor provides a quick, guided referral to secondary care. Treatment consists of short protocol -led programs and is based on 8 to 10 sessions followed by one year aftercare.

At present our services in Primary Care are focused on the treatment of clients with alcohol problems, soft- and hard drugs, smoking, gambling, internet (gaming), poker and benzodiazepines. In addition to the client him/herself, the loved ones of the client are involved in the treatment as much as possible. Also, apart from the key-client, loved ones can ask for help and support for their own benefit.

Clients come to RoderConsult mainly through the GP, the POH/GGZ, the primary-care-psychologist and General Social Work.
